Sudden Changes

Autumn has landed with an unladylike thud this year. No gentle descent with balmy days giving way graciously to the odd cool breeze, light shower of rain or dewy morning.



No, this year autumn arrived on the back of a gale force wind lasting two days.


And then it settled. The days got intantaneously colder, the encroaching nights marched on and the gale became a stiff northerly breeze.


So autumn is here, ready to stun an unsuspecting audience with glorious sunsets, breathtaking arboreal displays and intricate patterns of frost and mist in the valleys.
