And so to Work

It has finally happened! After weeks of tdying, sorting, stripping and rehanging paper, laying flooring, and managing to cover myself in an inordinate variety of gooey materials, my new studio is complete.

When we moved in in May, the soon-to-be-studio was carpeted, with horrendous textured wallpaper and some natty window dressing.

Now, it is a clean, bright and vaguely waterproof area in which I can make felt.

Chris helped me with the laminate flooring, and had a go with a paint roller, but the room has ostensibly been my project from start to finish.

I have learnd a lot of DIY in a hurry, and am now looking forward to feltmaking in my own space. The cat is banned, and I can spread my work out without having to clear up in time for tea. Ever again.

Hooray!

  2. Hello,

Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day!

What a lucky duck to have such a wonderful space to work in. I would love to be able to spread out. It turned into such a nice studio!
