Next, my felt pictures. I was entirely and utterly nervous about showing these for the first time, but I have had so many wonderful, encouraging and outright uplifting comments, it has been splendid.
And here is my very first Red Dot. I have another now, but the first is definitely the strangest and the best. I have sold work!
But fear not, it is not over when the fat lady of Art Tour sings on Sunday 27th June. Oh no. Whilst visitors have three more gorgeous weekends to come over and explore my Open Studio (details of which can be seen here), when the curtain falls at the end of June, I will begin teaching!
Yes, I am going to teach 'Get Started with Felt' at MAKE recycled craft workshop on Saturday 10th July. Places are limited, so book early! Click link for larger brochure image.

Cat, your work is lovely! It was a treat for Amanda, Fiona and me to see it on Saturday. Fiona coveted the big vessel in rainbow colours while I loved your mug and egg coses with the twiddly tops. But my absolute favourite was the big long framed grassy felt on the wall - I would have loved to take that home! I hope your workshop at Katie's is a sellout!
